FreeSteer – Free Artisteer Template

If you know nothing of Artisteer, well here’s my basic method when making a template with this great Web design generator:

1. First, I like to sit down and be relax, so I hit the Suggest Idea button for a while. Yeah, I’m kind of lazy.
2. Then, as soon as I feel ready, I wait until I get a template that vaguely correspond to what I want, but it’s not really important at this point.
3. Now, I go in every sub-items. In each one, you can get suggestion for that part only (I really like that button), then you can go in every detail and customize your template in a great way, with lot of tools, suggestions, icons, items, everything! You will get a better idea if I enumerate the sub-items:

• Colors and Fonts – color themes (really cool), fonts and typo…
• Layout – page layout, columns, width…
• Background – texture, glare, gradient…
• Sheet – sheet style, color, width, offset, shadow, radius, transparency…
• Header – width, height, text block, background, foreground photo, title style…
• Menu – menu style, menu bar, items, sub-items…
• Articles – shape, style, text format, header, footer, headings, hyperlink…
• Blocks – block style, background, header, block content…
• Buttons – style, shape, gradient, border, text, shadow…
• Footer – footer style, gradient, texture, text, some really nice RSS buttons…

Well, now I think you may have a glimpse of Artisteer software capabilities and the options it give you. But a text just can’t explain everything: all the nice icons and buttons, texture and glares, images, background, all these things that’s come with it. The color themes, a very great feature for people like me that struggles with color harmonization. With Artisteer color themes I’m sure that my colors fits well together. I would have too much things to say about this program. You can take a free look at it anyway, sure you won’t be able to export your templates with the free Web Design Generator – Artisteer demo, but you’ll see by yourself how fun it is to make templates with this generator! Sure, the price is hefty, but it really worth it if you have more than three-four websites, like me! And you can redistribute templates like I do here, even sell them if you want!
